Nicholson Hall(#3494RJ)

The main room of the Hall is well furnished, with beautiful ash floors. Wooden beams support the second floor, while giving the large home a rustic appeal. The room has been divided into two sections, with a clear pathway that leads into the kitchen. One half of the living room is filled with comfortable armchairs, end tables, and a sizable coffee table. All of which are situated in front of the living rooms main windows and creates a perfect environment for reading, or simply watching the world go by. The remaining half of the room contains a couch, two plush chairs, and a coffee table in front of an expansive stone fireplace. A spiral staircase is tucked into one corner.

Sometime over the last couple of years, a teen girl with a poor attitude and a hair-trigger temper has grown up, and matured into a young woman. With a poor attitude and a hair-trigger temper. KL is a little over five-foot tall - no late growth spurt for her - and slimly built. She moves quickly, and is rarely still for any length of time. Her natural balance and co-ordination are clearly evident in her movement, but any hint of grace is smothered with her air of irritation, hostility and restrained aggression. She manages to turn even simple activities - like ordering fries - into not particularly subtle attempts to provoke fights.
Her mousy-brown hair hangs loose around her shoulders, the front falling to frame her face. Her hair looks like it has been cut recently, and by someone with at least a little skill. She's really quite attractive, perhaps not a pin-up, but far from ugly, with a cute upturned nose and wide expressive hazelnut eyes. However, any level of appeal her physical appearance might have is swamped by the anger in her gaze and the sullen set of her mouth. She stares at people - particularly people she doesn't know - with a cold fury, as if trying to decide exactly which way to kill them.
KL has pale skin decorated in two places - on her left upper arm is a largish tattoo of something that looks a little like a bear, with its jaws spread wide and slaver falling in droplets. It has the words "No Mercy" written with gusto beneath it. On her right shoulder-blade, if visible, is a second tattoo, two-inch-square, of a winged horse. There isn't much in the way of excess flesh on her, her cheekbones are clearly visible and her bare arms have a tight musculature that speaks of regular and plentiful exercise.
She is wearing a pair of blue jeans that look brand-new, and have a designer label clearly visible on the rear, a pair of combat boots that also look new. On her upper half she is sporting a rather snazzy black leather jacket over a clean new white t-shirt.
Around her neck hangs a pendant, an oval disk made of some kind of bone. It looks like it's been decorated with carved designs, which are somewhat hard to make out on casual inspection. The pendant is hung on a leather thong.
On the back of her right hand, the legend "Be Nicer To People" is etched in black pen.

Darkly handsome, Alexander is a man in his mid thirties, with neatly cut black hair and a fine beard that runs along his jawline. His eyes are a dark bown and they compliment his olive skin. He is slim, without being thin, body having the look of one who takes one regular exercise to stay in shape, but nothing beyond that.
Currently, he is clad in a pair of simple blue jeans and a plain black button down shirt. A heavy gold and gem-encrusted ring decorates the second finger of Alexander's right hand. Running shoes adorn the Kinsman's feet, completing his appearance.

It's a quiet morning and Alexander is in the basement, watching the news about the fire and deaths at the farmhouse.

THUMP-THUMP-THUMP! On balance, that's probably someone knocking *at* the door, rather than knocking the door down, but it's a close call. Alexander doesn't get a chance to go to the door before someone unlocks it with a key. "Alexander!" comes the call from one of everyone's top two favourite Fury Ahroun Sept members. "You home?"

Alexander turns off the TV and hurries upstairs, trying his bathrobe closed as he heads for the front door. "Ms. KL," he says, he opens the door. "Are you okay? The fire last night. The stories of children being dead on the news..." Alexander looks scruffy and a bit unkept - he hasn't shaved yet.

"I've been up to the farmhouse," KL says, with a nod. She too looks grim and tired - there's a dirt smudge on her nose, and her hands are very mucky indeed. "Just looked from a distance. I haven't heard anything about people being killed there. Cedric's place too." She shakes her head. "It's a bit of a disaster."

Alexander swallows hard. "Please. Come inside. Have a shower, or a bath. You'll feel better." A pause. "The cubs can come back here, if they still need a place," he says.

KL looks at Alexander hard for a couple of moments. "Yes to the shower, no to the cubs coming back here." She looks uneasy. "Look, this is your house, and you get to decide who comes or doesn't come here. But it's also...um...haven't spoken to Nike about this, but instinctively, it's Fury territory too. Sort of via you." She studies Alexander hesitantly, as if she's saying something really awful.

"I know that," Alexander says, closing the door after KL is inside. "That is why the other Tribes were told they'd owe the Furies Chiminage, for using the house. It belongs to the Sisters."

The Ahroun shakes her head slightly. "Still think it belongs to you, primarily," she says. "Anyway, they disrespected our territory. Pretty serious. Don't want them back until they've atoned for that *AND* you say it's OK." She twitches her nose. "Don't really want them back at all, to be honest. Messing up your nice home. Making you forget to shave and be all upset."

Alexander shrugs. "And I belong to the sisters. Come on upstairs and shower. You'll feel better."

KL nods and heads for the staircase. She looks at Alexander, and a tiny grin twitches the corners of her mouth, and then she looks away. "Towels in the normal place?" she asks.

Alexander inclines his head in a nod. "They are. Do you want breakfast?"

"Oh! Yes!" KL says, that grin returning. "Do you have any sausage?" she asks, the corners of her eyes creased up. "Oh, and can I borrow a t-shirt?"

Alexander smiles easily. "Oh course. There are spare clothes in the spare room, along with a bathrobe in the closest. I'll make your breakfast." With that, the kinsman heads for the kitchen.

It takes a little while for KL to return, still towelling her hair dry. She appears to be wearing a t-shirt about nine sizes too large for her - it's definitely one of Alexander's, and a pair of boxer shorts. They might be his too, or from the spare room. And...that's it. "How's breakfast going?" she asks, standing in the kitchen doorway.

Bacon is frying, along with ham, sausage, and scrambled eggs. "Nearly done," Alexander says, scooping bacon on to some paper towels. "Do you want any juice?"

"Definitely," KL says, laying the towel down over the back of a chair. "Can't beat getting some juice inside you to start the morning." She sits herself down on a seat, pushes her damp hair back so that it falls straight down her back, and looks slightly mournfully at the back of her right hand. "My new year's resolution is fading already," she comments.

Alexander sets a glass of OJ in front on the Fury, followed by a heap of artery-clogging food. "New Years resolution?"

"Oh yes," KL says with a nod, displaying her hand to Alexander. It reads, still clearly, "Be Nicer To People". "Melodie wrote it," she says. "Apparently I'm not supposed to swear at anyone until the second sentence." She looks at Alexander. "But I don't swear at you. Hmm. How can I be nicer to you?"

"Not break down my door again?" Alexander offers with a smile, sounding completely serious. "Helping himself to some eggs and bacon, he sits down across from the Fury.

"I only did that once!" KL protests. "And I did help repair it!" She tucks in to her breakfast with alacrity. "It was an emergency too. Besides, I have a key now." She looks up. "Nothing else?" Mild disappointment.

Alexander mops up some yolk with a piece of toast and smiles at the Fury. "You did at that. Is there anything else you'd like?" He asks, not quite able to place KL's disappointment.

KL stares at him, not with hostility, but like she wants to say something, but can't quite bring herself to. After a few moments, she gives up, and tucks back into her breakfast.

Alexander looks sightly confused, then digs in to his own breakfast in silence. When he finishes, well before KL, he tidies up a little. Returning to the table, he comes to a stop next to KL, standing by her seat. "Would the lovely lady like anything else?" He asks with a smile.

The Fury Ahroun looks up at him, mild wonderment in her eyes. "I'm finished with breakfast, thank you," she says. "I forget how well you cook. Your sausage was particularly tasty." And she can't help but give a little snort of laughter as she says this.

Alexander finally seems to be catching on, as he snorts softly and collects the Fury's plate. "That was a very bad joke," he chides mildly. "And I do make a point of not cooking the other type. Burning and all that. Painful."

KL shrugs. "I'm an Ahroun, not a Ragabash," she says. "My jokes are supposed to be bad." She smiles at his comment. "I would imagine. Not being the sausage-owning type, I can only guess." She looks slightly nervously at him, as if not quite sure what to do next. "If you want to step out of the way gracefully, you can," she says, quietly. "Won't be anything other than mildly disappointed."

Alexander places the dishes in the sink and walks back over to the Fury. He lightly touches her cheek with the tips of his fingers, then lifts her chin to place a chaste kiss on her lips. "You only had to ask," he says, whisper soft.

"Didn't want to ask," KL says, equally quietly, looking up at him. "Wanted you to offer." She puts her hand up to rest lightly on the side of his neck, her brown eyes wide. "Only my second time ever," she says. "Just a warning."

Alexander kisses the Fury's forehead, while sliding his fingers in to her hair. "This is what I do for the sisters," he says, quietly. "The only real value I have as a male. Don't worry, I'll guide you and make certain you enjoy yourself."

KL slowly stands up...not that this actually increases her height that much, but at least she isn't sitting down, and wraps her arms around Alex, her hands stroking is back. "I wish you didn't think it was your only value, you know." She says, nuzzling her face in his chest. "I think you're nice, and fun, and sensible and clever too. A good friend." And there's just a hint of lean on that last word.

Alexander pauses for just a moment. "It is kind of you to think that," he says softly, running his fingers through the Ahroun's hair. Leaning over a little, he kisses KL's neck. "Come upstairs?"

"Mmm," KL says, dropping a hand to trace a fingertip down the inside of his arm. She squeezes his forearm, then smiles, mischeviously. "You work out," she says. "Carry me."

"As my lady wishes," Alexander says, picking up the Fury and making his way upstairs with her.

Some time later, KL is lying on her side with a "cat-got-the-cream" smile on her face. She idly traces her fingertips across Alexander's chest. "Thank you," she says, quietly. "That was fun." She rubs her cheek, which is looking a little red and inflamed. "Next time, shave?" No sting, just that mischevious grin.

"My apologies," Alexander says, placing a kiss on the offended cheek. "I'll make certain to shave next time. I am at your service, as always."

KL looks away for a second. "I wish you wouldn't say that. I know about obligation and duty, but it makes me feel...I don't know. Like I have abused you." She looks back. "At least say it was fun, and you find me at least slightly attractive. And mean it. I'll use a gift on you. There are gifts that allow you to determine whether or not someone is speaking the truth or not." She's still speaking lightly, but there's a level of seriousness behind that.

"I'm sorry," Alexander says, putting an arm around the Fury and pulling her close. "I enjoyed myself," he says with a smile. "And I think you are lovely," the man says, lightly giving one of KL's breasts a squeeze.

The Ahroun laughs. "I should point out, in fairness, that it's not a gift I have," she confesses, snuggling closer to him. Her trailing fingers run down his chest again...delving lower. "Again?" she asks, hopefully.

Alexander smiles, as certain items are pawed at. "You're insatiable, aren't you?" He asks, tone light and teasing. His response to her question is a silent one, as he lightly nips the full moon's shoulder and starts running his hands across her form. He takes the kinsman a while to get going the second time around, but he happily couples with a the Fury again. When all is said and done, he lays on his back, face flushed and breathing slowing to a more normal pace. "You've worn me out," he complains lightly, eyes closed.

"Oh," KL says, somewhat disappointedly. "Still, was fun. Maybe you should work out some more and stuff." She kisses his shoulder. "I suppose I should get up. Go do exciting Garou things. Find out if there's anything that needs hitting after the farmhouse got burned."

"The mind is willing, but the body is weak," Alexander says, rolling over to face KL. "Will you come back this evening? I could make you dinner."

The Ahroun smiles at him. "Maybe," she says. "Maybe not. Depends if I get a better offer." The tone is teasing, but there's a note of uncertainty in her eyes. "Or if I have to do something else...physical."

Alexander rolls back on to his back and nods, accepting the Ahroun's reply without any sign of hesitancy. "Of course," the kinsman says. "I'll keep something aside, just incase." A pause. "And thankyou. You've been kind to me." And he sounds like he means every word.

KL rolls over, kisses his shoulder again, then gets out of the bed. "Fuck," she says, "I need another shower. Mind?" she asks. "I mean, it's your fault I need it anyway."

Alexander sits up a little and smiles. "Of course not."

The Fury Ahroun grins, and then sashays (well, almost) off to the shower, from where a fairly tuneless humming can be heard, echoing happily through Nicholson Hall.
